What an interesting article. Its sort of odd that the authro specifically and obviously did not mention the fandom by name but just as obviously it was written form experiences at AC.
Still all in all, an interesting and well written take on it all.
The story has now been illustrated, too. Artwork came in late for the publishing deadline.
I agree. It's refreshing to see a look at the fandom that doesn't veer into either a 'freak show' or an equally rabid defense of (and attack on) everything the critic said.
Let's hope this and Kage's interview is the start of a trend.
