Brief Hiatus

Your rating: None Average: 5 (1 vote) will be taking a brief hiatus from posting furry fandom-related news. I don't feel that it is appropriate at this time. Please feel free (and I encourage it) to continue posting to the below threads, especially in regards to any of our fan community involved in this (and I can't even think of an appropriate word to describe it)...disaster.

I am at a loss for words.

We will resume our normal publication at a later date.

I don't have much to say, and my sympathy goes to everyone who was touched in any way by this horriffic event. I also want to let Aureth know that postponing furry news for a bit was an excellent idea: classy move, Aureth.

I'm out here in Los Angeles, where three of those aircraft were going. Fortunately I do not know anyone who was on any of them.

I an unrelated fandom of mine, the history of the RMS Titanic, one of the big historians who runs a mailing list that I participate in is (was)one of the chief LAN administrators for the Trade Center.

He was on a buisness trip out here and was staying on the Queen Mary at the time (big ship enthusiast). He is fine - but probably doesn't have a job to go back to. Most of the people he knew are gone, he worked on the 72nd floor of one of the towers. I don't know which one, but doesn't matter now.
