Upgrade Underway

Dealing with last week's problems delayed the roll-out of PHPNuke v4.4 (the code that drives Flayrah.com). I've started tweaking the code to my specs on a copy of the database. However, I did upgrade the poll code on this site, so the annoying bug of posting comments with no usernames should be fixed. At a first glance, the upgrade contains a number of other bug fixes, both noticable (poll comment fix) and not (lots of html code optimizations). There's also an included bulletin board and user-messaging system, as well as an FAQ manager, reviews manager, and a few other interesting things. Assuming nothing blows up this week, look for the new features towards the end of the week.

Don't underestimate the value of html optimizations. Most flayrah pages have a noticeable lag loading and displaying (moreso than many other pages I visit), especially on my rather dated home computer, so for me at least any improvement in this regard is much appreciated.
