The pictures are a bit confusing. The image at the top is indeed a thylacine. For all your marsupial lion (or possibly one hell of a squirrel, depending on what reconstruction you follow) info, there's http://www.thylacoleo.com/ and http://www.naturalworlds.org/thylacoleo/index.htm
