Further Confusion hotel is SOLD OUT

No votes yet

We have confirmed with the San Jose DoubleTree hotel (our host hotel) that there are no more rooms available to us to offer at the convention rate. As such, for all intents and purposes, the hotel is FULL.

A list of nearby hotels (within a half-mile) is now posted onto our website. Further Confusion cannot guarantee any special rate with these other hotels, so you might wish to shop around for the best rate you can find.

You might still be able to get a room at the DoubleTree, as from time to time there are cancellations that happen between now and convention time. The reservation line is the best way to find that out, by calling +1.408.453.4000.

Or, you might be able to find someone who is offering space in a room, by checking out the Ride/Room Share section of our Forums.

A few months of being offline we would like to announce the return of DFS (Department of Furry Safety). Despite the website only being a year old, it is no doubt gaining the deep interest of furry fans around the world. The Department of Furry Safety was created to offer a new type of badge to the furry community.

Wild Angels becomes a Wiki comic

Your rating: None Average: 5 (2 votes)

After a couple of years of raising funds to buy a newer computer with a scanner/printer, I'm happy to report that I'm bringing Wild Angels back to the Web.

Its location Ursine.ca

The comic will be hosted without commercial interruption by the hobbyist hosting site Ursine, and will for the first time be held on a Wikimedia-powered site, using the same Wiki markup language used by Wikipedia.

Anthro Convention Information Sheet Updated

Your rating: None

The Anthro Fandom Convention Information Sheet has been updated for the year. For 2005, on 18 conventions listed, we had a total of 9130 attendees. That works out to a total annual attendance growth of approximately 13%. For next year, I know the convention count increases to 19 and if we even make 10% growth we might just break the 10,000 mark.

Thank you to the folks who get me their numbers and, as always, corrections and additions are greatly appreciated. I try to do the best I can on the numbers and any mistakes are purely my own.

If you want to peruse the entire chart, it is located here:

Midwest FurFest

As this was my first furry convention, I decided to write it up in a little more detail than I would do otherwise. Read on to see what a con virgin thought of Midwest FurFest 2005. You should also read KinkyTurtle's MFF 2005 con diary, which is far funnier than mine! :-)

FC2006 November Newsletter

Winter draws nigh, and the great beasts shall sleep
But we shall putter away in our mysterious keep
For we scurrying creatures have so much to do
Before we can bring our convention to you --
And you may not know it, but you can lend a paw too.

For our convention is not run by magic, oh no;
Only with your aid shall it continue to grow.
If you are cunning like the fox, swift like the hare,
Stout like the ox, or smarter than the average bear,
Then lo, come forth!  Bring your bids to the table!
And perhaps next time you'll be part of the fable...

1.  An Important Message From AAE
2.  Hotel Room Block Issues
3.  Pre-Registration Closing Soon
